OverBrigitte

Dogtraining is my passion!

My name is Brigitte Versterre, born on 10th may1966. Married to Marcel Versterre and mother of Timo and Jorrit and living in Langenboom (NB- the Netherlands). In 1990 I started with our first dog the puppy course. After the dog school, I continued in search and rescue work. My first dogs were a Gordon Settter (Bowie) and a Dutch Shepherd (Basco). Then came Chica.

WORLD CHAMPION

Along with the SAR group Z.O.N. and additional instructors who had won their spurs  in dogsports, we brought Chica at world level. Through all the years help and support of my colleagues from the RHV ZON team, we achieved the highest level in 2007:  WORLD CHAMPION IRO AREA SEARCH!

RESCUE DOGS

Now in years I'm instructor/mentor of the training of the rescue teams in our team. In our discussions we try every dog at their own pace to get better and the dog handlers to get more experience at doing their training and building their techniques. Our dogs search for missing people during missions and do competitions/exams. Look for any info about our rescue dog team RHV ZON on the website: www.reddingshonden-zon.nl

DOG SCHOOL

Also, I have been for many years an instructor at the dog school in Balgoij, responsible for the lessons and instruction of the advanced dogs. Of course I also taught at the puppies and young dogs. Also difficult dogs were supervised by me. Currently, I am asked as examiner and substitute for the dog school ZON from Balgoij.

BV-DOGTRAINING

Dogs can, even after they have been for several months at a dog school, develop undesirable behavior. Back to the dog school is not an option to correct this problem. I started with BV-Dogtraining because I quite like owners help to explain why behavior occurred, and most importantly, how it can be solved!

Additionally, I like to teach at dogtrainers in the obedience, in preparation for their exams / competitions in dogsports. I do this in private lessons or small groups.

This extremely energetic and ball crazy dog is actually very suitable for all kinds of dog sports.
He is very fast and very inquisitive.
